It’s a bird! It’s a… look, we won’t waste your valuable time: it’s Superman. Yes, we’re delighted to announce that Tyler Hoechlin, who plays the Man of Steel on Supergirl, will be joining fellow Arrowverse stars Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen), Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak) and David Ramsey (John Diggle) at MCM London later this month!

The CW’s Supergirl sees California native Hoechlin star as the famous superhero cousin of protagonist Kara (Melissa Benoist). Originally sent to Earth to be the mentor of her little cousin Kal-El, the Kryptonian Kara was knocked off course into the Phantom Zone, eventually arriving on our planet to discover that Hoechlin’s character has grown up to be the greatest superhero of them all. Tyler also makes guest appearances as Superman in sister series Arrow and The Flash as part of 2018 crossover storyline ‘Elseworlds’.

Prior to donning Superman’s iconic cape, Tyler Hoechlin played Derek Hale on hit supernatural drama Teen Wolf – a tough werewolf who is initially hostile to main character Scott and his friends, but who later becomes a valuable ally. Meanwhile, Hoechlin’s big screen roles include Michael Sullivan, Jr. in Sam Mendes gangster movie Road to Perdition.
