Four of the cast of superhero anime My Hero Academia are trading U.A. High School for ExCel London, with Elizabeth Maxwell (Attack on Titan, RWBY), Aaron Dismuke (Fullmetal Alchemist, Blood Blockade Battlefront), Ricco Fajardo (Assassination Classroom, Free!) and Lindsay Seidel (Tokyo Ghoul, SSSS.Gridman) all set to attend MCM London this May.
Elizabeth Maxwell plays superhero teacher Midnight in the hit Studio Bones show. Teaching modern hero art history at U.A. and reffing the school’s sports festival, Midnight’s Quirk ‘Sonambulist’ enables her to produce a scent that sends people to sleep. Maxwell’s other roles include Ymir in Attack on Titan, Winter in RWBY and Arisa in the new Fruits Basket.
Aaron Dismuke appears as Tamaki ‘Suneater’ Amajiki, one of ‘Big Three’ group of third years considered to be the best among U.A. students. A voice actor since the age of nine, Dismuke’s many other roles include Alphonse Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist, Leonardo in Blood Blockade Battlefront , Arslan in The Heroic Legend of Arslan and Oscar in Western animation RWBY.
Lindsay Seidel voices another member of the Big Three – blue-haired ace Nejire Hado, whose ‘Wave Motion’ Quirk generates spiral shockwaves capable of taking out villains the size of buildings. Seidel’s other anime credits include Tokyo Ghoul, SSSS.Gridman, Psycho-Pass, A Certain Magical Index, Fairy Tail, Endro~! and The Quintessential Quintuplets.
My Hero Academia sees Ricco Fajardo play Mirio Togata. The final member of U.A. High School’s Big Three, Mirio loses his powerful ‘Permeation’ Quirk after being shot with an ability-nullifying bullet while fighting the villainous Overhaul. Fajardo’s other appearances include Assassination Classroom, Yuri!!! on Ice, Zombie Land Saga, Free! and Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash.
