Calling all cosplay fans! We’re happy to announce that US cosplayer, model, gamer and artist Ivy Doomkitty will be making her MCM Scotland Comic Con debut at next month’s SEC Glasgow show.

Based in Los Angeles, Ivy has been attending conventions for over 14 years, but it’s the last five years that have seen her gain international recognition as a cosplayer. A cast member of IGN’s Hero Makeover, guest judge on Syfy series Heroes of Cosplay and cover model for Cosplay Culture magazine, Ivy is a popular face on the comic con scene – participating in panels, hosting costume contests and podcasting regularly via gaming channel Videogame Bang Podcast.

Ivy is also well known for championing the cause of body acceptance and ‘cospositivity’ in the cosplay community, making it her mission to show people that they can take part in the hobby they love regardless of gender, skin colour, sexual orientation, body shape, size or age. You can follow Ivy on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, and visit her website here.
