Paper Pirates: Ghost Ship is a digital social deduction game for a team of four to ten players. The team need to sail their ship to shore, keeping hold of all their treasures. The catch? The ship is haunted, and the ghosts are trying to throw all the treasure overboard! Players connect to the TV with their phones, so everyone can play, and when you think you’re on to a ghost? Time to throw them overboard! Don’t make a mistake though – every innocent pirate thrown overboard comes back to haunt someone anew… How well do you trust your friends?
Flux8 is a puzzle platformer, based around the polarity of magnets and how they react to exterior forces. As a sentient magnet, enslaved in a factory, you have two options: work or be terminated! However, not all magnets are born to work. Some dream of freedom and choose to rebel. There’s a whole wide world waiting just outside those factory doors… you must remain positive!

Beat Your Meat
Beat Your Meat is a 2-4 player pig based brawler! Take hold of your meat tenderiser and bash your oppenents. Yep bash them, bash them into the ground! Take on other pigs in a variety of different game modes in a variety of different hats and shirts. Hitting a pig causes it to shrink and drop a tasty pork treat, picking them up causes you to grow. Big pigs cause more knockback and small pigs move and attack faster!
Wordhunters is a fun & educational globetrotting party word game for PlayStation 4. Up to 6 players use their own mobile phone/tablet with our innovative “PlayLink” smartphone App as controllers for the PS4 game. With 15 different word games it’s fun for the entire family!
Manchester Metropolitan University: Games, Computer Animation and Visual Effects Showcase
Manchester Metropolitan University are exhibiting a showcase of student work from across their BSc (Hons) Computer Games Technology and BSc (Hons) Computer Animation and Visual Effects courses. An assortment of playable games – some of which were made in a challenging ‘game a week’ assessment! – are available to try, plus a showreel of the very best Computer Animation and Visual Effects is on rotation over the weekend. The games on display will change over the weekend, so there’s always something new to try!
