MCM London is getting an awesome sneak peek at the upcoming Jeff Wayne’s War of The Worlds: The Immersive Experience, with the team behind the revolutionary multisensory experience taking to Comic Con’s Centre Stage at 12:15 on Friday ahead of its official opening in central London later this month.
Created by dotdotdot and executive produced by Jeff Wayne himself, Jeff Wayne’s War of The Worlds: The Immersive Experience gives audiences the chance to live through H.G. Wells’ famous Martian invasion of 1898, combining Wayne’s award-winning musical version with virtual reality, augmented reality, holograms and other cutting-edge technology for a never-before-seen interactive adventure in an alien-infested Victorian England.
Dotdotdot CEO Andrew McGuiness and Carl Guyenette, the company’s Creative Technology Director, will be joined on stage by actors Tom Brittney and Anna-Marie, who star as protagonists George Herbert and his fiancée Carrie, to discuss everything from forming the initial idea to how the multisensory experience has literally come to life.
