Anime director Yuichiro Hayashi is to be Anime Limited’s guest of honour at MCM London Comic Con, with the GARO the Animation and Kakegurui helmer taking part in a special panel. Held on MCM London’s Centre Stage at 13:30 on the Saturday of the show, the panel will see Hayashi discuss his career with Anime Limited’s Jeremy Graves and Andy Hanley.
Yuichiro Hayashi’s time in the anime industry has seen him involved in numerous major productions, including acting as storyboard artist on 2012 sci-fi film 009 Re:Cyborg and directing 2014 dark fantasy series GARO the Animation and its feature-length follow-up GARO: Divine Flame. Hayashi returned to the director’s chair for 2017 gambling anime Kakegurui and recently collaborated with Kiyoshi Matsuda on second season Kakegurui xx.
Jeremy and Andy will also be taking to the MCM London stage on the Friday and Sunday of Comic Con to entertain visitors with all things Anime Limited, discussing the UK distributor’s hottest new products on sale at the show, taking you through their plans for forthcoming titles and – of course – teasing you with announcements of some brand new acquisitions!
