FREEEEEEEEEDOOOOOOOOOM! We’re thrilled to announce that Angus Macfadyen, who famously played Robert the Bruce in Mel Gibson’s Academy Award-winning Braveheart, will be among the special guests meeting fans at MCM Scotland next month.

Glasgow-born Macfadyen is set to reprise his breakthrough role as the renowned warrior king in upcoming movie Robert the Bruce, whose story picks up where 1995 hit Braveheart ended. Macfadyen’s other major movie credits include the villainous DuPont in sci-fi actioner Equilibrium; Jeff Denlon in the Saw horror franchise; MacCready in Cameron Crowe comedy We Bought a Zoo and biologist James Murray in last year’s acclaimed The Lost City of Z.

Meanwhile, Angus Macfadyen’s television career include stints on well-received US historical dramas Turn: Washington’s Spies and The Pinkertons, as well as appearances on shows such as Californication, Criminal Minds, Alias, Soldier Soldier and Chuck.
