Bob Burgers creator Loren Bouchard brings the Belchers to MCM

Bob’s Burgers, a 2017 Emmy® Award winner for Outstanding Animated Programme, is an animated series that centers around a small family owned business and their struggle to survive and occasionally even succeed despite greasy counters and a lousy location on the decidedly unglamorous Ocean Avenue.

Bob has big ideas about burgers, though the rest of the family falls a little short on customer service. Working at the restaurant and serving memorable Burger of the Day specials, Bob & Linda’s children include their eldest and slightly awkward daughter, Tina; silly and musical middle child, Gene; and cunning and mischievous youngest daughter, Louise. And the Belchers are surrounded by a whole neighbourhood of friends, frenemies, customers and restaurant competitors.

This year at London Comic Con, please join us for a special daily screening of a pair of memorable Bob’s Burgers episodes complimented by an introduction from show creator Loren Bouchard. Plus, while supplies last, each attendee will receive a London Comic Con exclusive – a Bob’s Burgers collector button! This presentation is brought to you by 20th Century Fox Television and Comedy Central.

In addition to its recent Emmy® win, the critically acclaimed series was nominated for a 2017 Critics’ Choice Award for Best Animation Series. The series was also nominated in 2016 for an Emmy® Award in the category of Outstanding Animated Programme, and in 2015 for Outstanding Animated Programme and Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance (John Roberts). In 2014, it won its first Emmy® Award for Outstanding Animated Programme.

Bob’s Burgers is a 20th Century Fox Television and Bento Box Entertainment production, created by Loren Bouchard. Along with having created Bob’s Burgers, Bouchard is a writer and a composer/musician on the Emmy® Award-winning show. The hit programme, Bob’s Burgers will make its feature film debut in July 2020.

Bob’s Burgers airs Fridays at 10pm, only on Comedy Central.
